| Chocolate Madness pt3 |

| Based on a True Story |
It has now been nearly another month since part 2
of my Choco Madness cereal tournament. I never expected it to take this long, but I also never expected
to get tired of cereal, let alone chocolate cereal.
2ND ROUND
(#1) Count Chocula vs. (#9) Peanut Butter Toast Crunch
Although PB Toast Crunch had no problem destroying the Captain, it was severly underprepared to face the Count.
Count Chocula tasted better overall, had better post-cereal-milk, looked better, and even had a better
mascot. What the hell is Peanut Butter Toast anyways? I mean at least I've heard of Cinnamon Toast for
breakfast.
(#4) Cocoa Puffs vs. (#12) Chocolate Lucky Charms
Similar to PB Toast Crunch, Cocoa Puffs sailed through the first round (as expected considering they were
ranked #4) but who would have thought they'd fall to a twelve seed; Huge upset. Chocolate Lucky Charms
beat Cocoa Puffs easily. This match was probably not that big an upset. I had never heard of Chocolate
Lucky Charms before so when the alogrithm seeded them as low as twelve, I didn't question it. If I ever do
this stupid tournament again, they will probably be seeded higher. The odds of me doing this tournament
again are zero percent. In fact, part of me doesn't even want to finish this one.
(#2) Cocoa Pebbles vs. (#10) Oreo-Os
Another double OT game and another upset. That's what I love about Choco Madness, it's about which cereal
wants it more, and in the end, Cocoa Pebbles rested on its laurels while Oreo-0s fought for victory.
Something about Oreo-Os was just better. Stayed cruncy in milk while Pebbles went soft. The marshmellows
were a nice bonus. Pebbles won in the milk showdown but Oreo-Os won the overall battle. Oreo-Os
may be the Texas Western of cereals. In fact, Hollywood would probably be writing Glory Road 2 if I didn't
eat all of the starters.
(#3) Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs vs. (#6) Cocoa Krispies
I tell you, for as tough as some of the first round match-ups were, this is the 3rd time in the second round
where there was a clear cut winner. Reese's dominated Cocoa Krispies. I would write more, but I can't even
describe how badly Reese's beat Cocoa Krispies. It wasn't even fun. Similarly, this Choco Madness tournament
is not that much fun for me anymore.
And then there were four.
